The first volume contains the years between Burkay’s
childhood and the summer of 1974. The first part of the book

nature, and the village with its different aspects.
With other words, this section describes a Kurdish village
and
the Kurdish life during the 1940s.
This section is followed by the years of study at the Akcadag
and Tigris village
institutes (a kind of teacher’s training school). In this

and the period
of Turkish Workers Party.
His political and professional life in Elazig and Dersim;

arrests and short
portraits of people Burkay came across, worked with and spend
time with in
prison.
The 12 March period, the exile; Damascus, Beirut, Sofia, Munich,
Konstanz...
An autobiographic novel, an interesting story that is easy
to understand and told
poetically. At the same time, the story of an era, the history
of the Turkish and
Kurdish left and the Kurdish patriotic movement.
Burkay, for the remaining part, "in the coming section,
the establishment of the
Socialist Party of Kurdistan and the political events that
I was actively part of.
The history of the party with other words. I also tried to
reflect important
political events of that era as a whole. I mention the Kurdish
national movement
and important developments of Turkish left-wing politics,
organisations, leaders
and to some extent international developments. This section,
with its
documents, becomes two or three volumes, I currently prepare
them for
publishing in appropriate time."
