As known, the chief of the Turkish General Staff made a statement in April and told ‘Barzani and Talabani support the terrorists. We are ready for an operation against Iraq. It has to be done. But it is affiliated with political decision.’

The Chief of the Turkish General Staff uttered these words again after the suicide attack in Ankara and blamed South Kurdistan government for ‘helping the terrorists’.

This declaration escalated the unannounced war against South Kurdistan.

Turkish army is dispatching more and more troops and carrying out operations by the borderline.    

Turkish press insults South Kurdistan and its government in a shameless and inhumane way.

On the other hand AKP government is increasing its diplomatic activities in this field.

Military and civil officers of Turkish State use PKK bases in south Kurdistan as an excuse for the intervention.

But it is evident that the foremost aim of Turkish state is to prevent economical, political and social development of Kurdistan Regional Government.

Turkish military intervention aims to prevent 140^th article of Iraqi constitution, which was widely accepted by peoples of Iraq, put into practice.

No doubt that intervention of Turkish State is to disregard the sovereignty of Iraqi State and it will not solve the problems and contribute the peace process but make the problems insoluble.

We, the Kurdish parties below, call out USA, EU, NATO, international human rights organizations and humanitarian groups. Prevent Turkish State and the other neighbouring states to interfere inner affairs of Iraq and to attack South Kurdistan.

USA, EU, NATO and international organizations should; encourage democratic and peaceful powers of Iraq for a democratic and federal country, help Kurdistan Regional Government, endeavour for peaceful solution for Kurdish problem in Iran, Syria and Turkey.
