People of Kurdistan,

Today’s world is the scene of significant changes and presents widespread opportunities for the advancement of democracy, human rights and  respect for diverse opinions and law. However Turkish State alleges some unjust reasons like ‘defending Turkmen rights’ worth rejecting these values and interferes in the inner affairs of a sovereign state. It is well-known that Turkmen have all their national and democratical rights in Iraq. There are Turkmen represantatives in the assemblies of Iraq and Kurdistan. Moreover Turkmen national democratic rights appear in Kurdistan Constitution.

We don’t know how Turkey’s interference to the inner affairs of an independent and sovereign state can be grounded wih such a pretext like Kirkuk, a Kurdish populated city. But we know that Iraqi Constitution was widely accepted by Iraqi people and offers solution to the Kirkuk problem with its 140th article.

Turkey must remember that it has lots of problems including Kurdish problem. Northern Kurds  have no democratical and national rights despite their population reaching thirty million. So Turkey must stop showing false interest to Turkmen people. Turkish state must be aware of the damages it gives to the bilateral relations between Kurdish and Turkish people.

We the Kurdish parties and organizations below condemn Turkey’s interference in the inner affairs of Iraq and South Kurdistan. We demand United Nations, European Union, allied powers and international human rights and peace supporting organizations to reject Turkey’s, Iran’s and Syria’s threating and interfering policies which prevent the forming of a permanent peace in the region.

We support Kurdistan Regional Leadership’s and Kurdistan Regional Leader Messoud Barzani’s attitude and consider his attitude regarding Kurdish problem as our own attitude.

We condemn Turkish state authorities, politicians and Turkish press because of their attacks against Messoud Barzani’s personality which are impolite and deprived of political morals.
