Six Kurdish Political prisoners have been executed

According to a release published by a credible local source, six
people from the political prisoners of Kurdistan were executed on
Tuesday, 8 October 2002.
In this release published by a group calling itself Associates
of Karim Toujhali [an executed member of Democratic Party
of Iranian Kurdistan] has come: In the morning of Tuesday, 8 October
2002, a group of Kurdish political prisoners, after withstanding
many years of interrogation, torture and imprisonment, were sent
to the death rows. This release along with referring to their published
warnings regarding the danger of execution prior to this new wave
of execution, adds: unfortunately, so far only the names of two
of these six victims have been identified. These two were hamza
Ghaderi, 21 years old married, from Sardasht (Iranian Kurdistan)
with a young girl child(who had not been born prior to his captivity),
and Jalal Zevayie, 27 years old, married also from Sradasht. This
report also adds: the bodies of the executed were given back to
their relatives at 11:00 at night, and they were forced to bury
them immediately. Any funerals for the dead were also prohibited.
At the end of this release has come: In 23 January 2002, along
with the trip of the UN Secretary-general to Iran, Karim Toujhali
and two other were executed, and now with the trip of the British
Foreign Secretary to Tehran, one of the matters that must be addressed
to the Iranian officials, respect for human rights, such criminal
acts are committed.
