To the Press and the Public
Stand hand in hand against the plans staged
by the Deep State
No matter what the national, religious and political affiliations
of the assailants of the May 22 bombing in Ankara may be,
it is certain that the action was planned and staged by the
agents of the deep state. The statements made by the military
and political authorities do but prove this fact.
One leading aim sought to be attained through the bombing
is the making of new excuses for a military operation towards
Southern Kurdistan. The putting of the Kurdish Regional Government
on the spot in the immediate aftermath of the bombing by the
Chief of the Turkish General Staff, Yaşar Büyükanıt,
as a “force that feeds terror” point to this.
Another aim of the bombing is a further incitement of the
Turkish nationalist wave that has gained momentum through
the recent “Republic Demonstrations”, and the provocation
of hatred against Kurdish freedom held by the Turkish society.
Those who staged the bombing seek to spread fear and anxiety
throughout the society in the face of a Parliament constantly
propagated to be incompetent to face and handle the problem.
This economy of fear tries to set the grounds for a military
coup d’etat as the only way out.
The bombing aims, furthermore, to impede the process of democratization
and the possible success of Kurds and democratic forces in
the forthcoming General Elections through disseminating an
atmosphere of chaos, fear and anxiety.
PSK-The Socialist Party of Kurdistan condemns the bombing
and its perpetrators as assailants of the civilians killed
and injured therein.
PSK- The Socialist Party of Kurdistan, calls on all the patriots,
progressives, democrats and leftists of Kurdistan to stay
agile against the plans prepared in the depths of the state,
and to put hand in hand to prove their plots vain and to put
the country into the road of democracy and change.
PSK- The Socialist Party of Kurdistan, calls on the PKK to
give an end to the military operations that proves clearer
every other day to be working against Kurds interests, to
declare the continuance of ceasefire and to refrain from all
actions and statements that may provide the Turkish state
with excuses for a military intervention into the South.
